Using donor sperm
At IVFAustralia you can use sperm donated by someone you know, or select one of our de-identified donors that we have recruited locally and from overseas.
All donors undergo significant medical and genetic screening tests.
The treatment options available with donor sperm include intrauterine insemination (IUI) or in-vitro-fertilisation (IVF) with intra-cystoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).

Using donor eggs
IVFAustralia provides egg donation services for people who are unable to conceive using their own eggs, where the donor and the recipient are known to each other.
Ideally donors should be aged 23 – 33 with no medical or genetic conditions; they will be screened to determine their suitability.
The egg donor is required to undertake an IVF cycle to have eggs collected. Embryos can then be created with the partners (or donor) sperm, before being transferred back into the recipient’s uterus.

Embryo donation
People who have completed their family and have additional embryos in storage have the option of donating their frozen embryos to someone having trouble conceiving.
Our online community ‘Embryo Donors’ can facilitate connections between potential recipients and donors in a secure, private environment.
If you are offered the incredible gift of an embryo, the embryo will be thawed and transferred into the recipient's uterus on the right day of the natural cycle or hormone treatments may be used.
