Shannon is an attentive and empathetic urological surgeon, who is passionate about andrology and dedicated to treating male infertility.
She is an accomplished and proficient micro surgeon, whose experience in the male genitourinary system enables her to offer comprehensive treatment to men with infertility problems.
After graduating from New York University, Shannon completed her MBBS at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) before specialising in Urology. Shannon spent time further developing her skills at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where she worked with Dr. Craig Neiderberger and Dr. Lawrence Ross, two of the foremost male infertility experts in the United States.
Following her return to Australia Shannon has been working alongside Dr David Golovsky (retired: 2017), the country’s leading expert in male infertility, and undertaking a shared research project with a team from the UIC into clomiphene citrate (hormome optimisation for male infertility).
She currently also works at The Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick, and is a conjoint lecturer at UNSW.
Shannon is very popular with patients, who appreciate her expertise in providing specialist care for extreme male factor infertility, and her thorough approach to their treatment.
Well-read and knowledgeable, Shannon is also fluent in Korean.
