Dr Winspear has practised Women's Ultrasound and Prenatal Diagnosis throughout Australia.
Dr Winspear studied medicine at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, graduating with first class honours. She undertook her specialist training in Newcastle, which included ultrasound training, achieving a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound.
Upon relocating to Tasmania, Dr Winspear established a comprehensive specialist practice in Launceston, working in obstetrics, gynaecology and infertility. In addition, she founded the first prenatal diagnosis and high risk ultrasound practice in the North of Tasmania, and served as Medical Director of her IVF unit.
Since returning to Newcastle, Dr Winspear has focussed on providing a comprehensive service to her patients throughout their reproductive lives. Her practice encompasses gynaecology, ultrasound and infertility, obstetrics and obstetric ultrasound. Dr Winspear is the only fertility specialist in the Hunter region to provide fertility care, obstetrics, obstetric ultrasound and prenatal testing as a combined service.
