A/Prof David Greening is an experienced fertility specialist who has been practising in the Illawarra region for over fifteen years.

As the Clinical Director of IVFAustralia Wollongong and The Fertility Centre Wollongong, David guides people along their entire fertility journey, from pre-conception right through to delivery. He has a range of specialist interests, including infertility, endocrine disorders, recurrent miscarriage and obstetrics.

David emigrated to Australia from New Zealand in 1991, and worked for organisations including the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Broken Hill, NSW and SOS International in Asia.

After returning to Melbourne to undertake specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, David travelled to Europe where he completed subspecialist training in reproductive medicine. During time spent in London, he worked at the esteemed Hammersmith IVF unit.

In 2004 David completed his Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), a Masters in Bioethics (MSC), and began his own private practice in Wollongong.

David has a strong reputation within the Illawarra community, and is well respected and popular with patients. He has delivered over 2500 local babies, many from both spontaneous and fertility treatments. He also has a keen interest in recurrent IVF failure and recurrent miscarriage.

He is an author of an international book (Rockpool publishers) titled 'The Road Map to Fertility'.
