Dr Steven Adair

Dr Steven Adair is Canberra's esteemed Clinical Director, who currently specialises in Gynaecology with a strong interest in fertility medicine. As a senior specialist in Gynaecology, Steven earned his degree from Queens University, Belfast in 1993, initiating a journey marked by excellence.

His comprehensive training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology took root in Northern Ireland, flourished in England, and reached its culmination in Canberra in 2003. In 2004, Steven assumed the role of a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Canberra Hospital.

After a distinguished 7-year tenure at Sunderland Royal Hospital, Steven returned to Canberra in 2011, assuming the pivotal position of Clinical Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the new Centenary Hospital for Women. Although he no longer practices obstetrics, he remains passionate about his focus on fertility and women’s medicine. These passions are reflected in his fellowship with both the UK's Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the Australian/New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). Steven's commitment to advancing women's health is not just a profession but a lifelong dedication.
