Quality Standards & Accreditation

The medical and scientific team, support staff and all facilities within IVFAustralia meet the highest level of independent global quality standards.

IVFAustralia is certified as operating in compliance with the ISO AS/NZS 9001:2016 standard and the Reproductive Technologies Accreditation Committee (RTAC)  Code of Practice.  All of our laboratories are separately accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA).

We are extremely proud of our Quality Management Program which guides and directs our daily business operations to foster a culture of continuous improvement at IVFAustralia.  In this way, we can ensure that we will reliably meet the very high expectations of our patients.

IVFAustralia also publishes it’s Quality Policy, recognising the need to deliver services to patients, referring doctors and all other customers at a consistently high level of quality that reliably meets and exceeds their expectations.

As a patient you will see all of this in action and experience the very thorough identification and checking procedures at every stage of your journey.  From the simple consultation checks and results to detailed blood tests and scientific procedures, each step is meticulously controlled to provide you with the reassurance and confidence that your fertility care is being managed by the leading team of fertility specialists.

ISO AS/NZS 9001:2016

All processes, from clinics to laboratories and day hospitals, have ISO 9001:2008 accreditation. We first achieved this in September 2008, and it has been instrumental in creating a culture of continuous improvement across IVFAustralia.

RTAC

We follow the code of practice set by the Reproductive Technology Accreditation Committee (RTAC) Certification Scheme, developed by the Fertility Society of Australia and independently audited by JAS-ANZ.

NATA

Our diagnostic laboratories and pathology services are rigorously assessed and accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA), the independent authority for technical best practice.
