Dr Sameer Mathur

Dr Sameer Mathur is a warm and approachable figure in the field of fertility care, creating a supportive environment for patients as they navigate the intricate journey of family planning. Dr. Mathur initiated his medical journey at the Australian National University in Canberra, laying the groundwork for his passion for reproductive health. 

Continuing his training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the Royal North Shore Hospital, Sameer further refined his expertise through REI fellowships at prestigious institutions such as Guy's & St Thomas Hospital Trust in London and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. His diverse training included periods at hospitals in Gosford, Port Macquarie, Northern Beaches, and Hornsby. 

Specialising in fertility, Sameer received focused training at the Assisted Conception Unit at Guy's Hospital in London and the Fertility Unit at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. His dedication to comprehensive women's health is evident as he currently divides his time between the Menopause clinic at Royal North Shore Hospital and serving as a visiting medical officer at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. 

In the complex field of fertility, Sameer has developed a keen interest in Premature Ovarian Insufficiency, Social Egg Freezing, Menopause, and General Infertility. A dedicated learner, he delves into the latest research through journals and the ASRM podcast, staying informed about the newest advancements in reproductive health Additionally, he stays up to date on the latest developments in reproductive health by regularly attending medical conferences such as ASRM, SEED, FSANZ, and others.
