New North Shore SPECIALIST Day Surgery is looking for motivated and committed individuals with previous administrative experience in a day surgery/hospital admissions environment. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a strong empathy and compassion towards patients and be willing to work within an exciting and efficient team.

The two theatre Specialist Day Surgery situated on Pacific Highway, Greenwich has been commissioned by IVFAustralia.

Uniquely planned to incorporate the latest communications technology, environmentally efficient systems and a theatre/recovery room layout that is conducive to smooth and seamless transition for patients, this theatre will attract high quality personnel.

IVFAustralia is one of the country’s leading fertility groups and while many of the day surgery’s procedures will support fertility patients it will also undertake general, plastic, urology, gynaecology and laparoscopic procedures.

We are seeking administration personnel in full and part time positions, all of which will attract a degree of flexibility in working hours. Early morning starts will apply and applicants must be available Monday through to Saturdays.

Public Liaison Coordinator

Public Liaison Coordinator

IVFAustralia is seeking a mature individual who has strong administrative and customer relations skills to become our Public Liaison Coordinator based at Greenwich.

This role has two key responsibilities:
· Facilitating IVFAustralia’s public education services (answering public enquiries via telephone and our website; running our public information evenings)
· Administrative and logistical support for the education and events .

This role would be ideal for a local who was previously a high level PA with exceptional administrative and project management skills. This is a busy role requiring the incumbent to be highly efficient, organised individual who demonstrates strong empathy and compassion.

Your ability to coordinate events for health professionals and prospective patients, including logistical and material preparations, as well as your ability to absorb and communicate information regarding the latest developments in Assisted Reproductive Technology will be essential.

Commitment to service, excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, along with computer literacy are vital to your success in this rewarding role.

Previous marketing administrative/PA experience is essential and a candidate with healthcare or support group experience is preferable. This role is full time but has a degree of flexibility around the working hours due to the involvement in the evening educational seminars.

Scientist – IVF Andrology
Full Time

IVF Australia serves the Greater Sydney area by providing infertility treatment via an extensive and convenient network of facilities. We are currently seeking to recruit a scientist to work in our andrology laboratories.

This is a full-time position that requires rostered deployment at one of our five Sydney based clinics. The position involves all aspects of andrology work including diagnostic semen analyses, sperm antibody testing, semen preparations for inseminations, cryopreservation, DNA fragmentation testing, quality assurance and database management. Considerable patient contact is required demanding excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

The minimum requirement for this position is a degree in Science from a recognised tertiary institution, further training will be provided by IVF Australia as necessary.
