 Cherie Borosh
Cherie Borosh
B.A. Communication, G.Dip. Psychology, P.G. Dip Psychology, M.Ed. (Adult Ed)

Cherie Borosh is a Counselling Psychologist who has post-graduate qualifications in psychology and adult education, and is currently completing her Doctorate in Psychology at Macquarie University, where she is investigating the experience of egg donors. She has experience counselling couples and individuals undertaking fertility treatment, coping with childlessness, miscarriage, failed cycles, and donor conception. Cherie also has experience as a generalist counsellor working to help manage anxiety, depression, self-esteem and the effects of trauma, and continues to work part-time as a couple’s counsellor. She brings to her role as fertility counsellor the experience and knowledge gained through these previous roles, together with her keen interest in relationships, to provide supportive and patient focused care.

Cherie is interested in applying research from the field of psychology to understanding more about patient needs and also to contributing to our understanding of fertility related issues in Australia.

Cherie is registered with the New South Wales Psychologist’s Registration Board and is a member of the Australia and New Zealand Infertility Counsellor's Association. Cherie counsels from IVFAustralia Western Sydney.

Suzanne Hawkins

Suzanne is a Counsellor who has post-graduate qualifications in psychology, genetic counselling, couples counselling and medical science. She has experience in counselling couples and individuals undertaking fertility treatment, coping with childlessness, miscarriage, failed cycles, and donor conception. Suzanne also has experience as a couple’s counsellor and as an adoption worker. Additionally, she has worked with people who are affected by genetic conditions and has experience in the running and training of support groups.

Suzanne’s areas of interests include couple and family therapy, grief and loss, donor conception and issues associated with donor conceived children.

Suzanne is registered with the New South Wales Psychologist’s Registration Board. Suzanne counsels from IVFAustralia Southern Sydney (Kogarah) and IVFAustralia Eastern Suburbs (Maroubra).

Peggy Bracks

Peggy is a psychologist who is currently completing a Doctor of Psychology at Macquarie University. Her research investigates the effects of age and gender on psychological and emotional adjustment in the transition to parenthood in couples who have used IVF to conceive. She has experience counselling couples and individuals undertaking fertility treatment, coping with childlessness, miscarriage, failed cycles, and donor conception.

Peggy has also worked extensively with people who have gambling problems, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, risk to self/suicide issues and general mental health. She brings to her role a combination of research and work experience to provide clients with clinical and supportive fertility counselling.

Peggy is registered with the New South Wales Psychologist’s Registration Board and is a member of the Australia and New Zealand Infertility Counsellor's Association. Peggy counsels from IVFAustralia Northshore.

Beverley is a counselling psychologist with postgraduate qualifications in secondary school teaching and counselling, psychology, couples and family counselling. Beverley is a relationships counselor and has a special interest in the impact of infertility, childlessness, failed cycles, donor conception on relationships. Additionally she has experience working with individuals, couples and families living with a chronic medical condition.

Beverley is registered with the NSW Psychologist’s Registration Board. Beverley is a member of Australian Psychological Society and the Australian and New Zealand Infertility Counsellors Association.

 Nicole Scoble-Williams
Nicole Scoble-Williams

Nicole Scoble-Williams is a Genetic Counsellor with a Masters in Science from Griffith University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne. As both a genetic counsellor and a professional counsellor, Nicole has extensive experience providing grief and loss counselling support to families enduring the experience of pregnancy loss due to miscarriage, neonatal death, or termination of pregnancy following positive prenatal diagnosis results, and has been closely associated with the Bonnie Babes Foundation as well as Support After Fetal Diagnosis of Abnormality (SAFDA) groups in South Australia, Queensland and now Sydney. Nicole’s counselling experience adds a unique dimension to her genetic counselling style within the prenatal and IVF setting, empowering patients with access to the necessary information, resources and supportive networks to make informed decisions regarding genetic conditions and/or birth defects. Nicole has previous IT industry experience and following several years of process improvement, business excellence and quality management roles, as well as formal qualifications as an ISO internal auditor, also leads IVFAustralia’s Quality Compliance and Risk Management efforts.

Nicole is registered with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and the Human Genetics Society of Australasia (HGSA).
