Experience

The IVFAustralia team which comprises fertility specialists, nurses, counsellors, scientists, more than one hundred strong, is undoubtedly one of the most experienced in the world. We have the most sub-specialist trained and experienced fertility doctors (Obstetricians and Gynaecologists with three additional years of specialised infertility and endocrinology training).

Members of our staff are leaders in their respective fields. Appointments have included professorial positions at three universities (Sydney, New South Wales and Western Sydney) and Chairmanships of the Reproductive Technology Accreditation Committee (RTAC), the IVF Directors Group of Australia, the Fertility Nurses of Australasia and the CREI Subspecialty Training Committee of the RANZCOG. Three of our 'founder' specialists have been Presidents of the Fertility Society of Australia.

Emeritus Prof Doug Saunders (Chair, IVFAustralia's Research and Development Committee) led the team who delivered the first IVF conceived baby in NSW.

Excellence

Our program is fully accredited by the Reproductive Technology Accreditation Committee (RTAC) of the Fertility Society of Australia and our endocrine (hormone) and andrology (sperm) laboratories are fully accredited by The National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA).
