At your initial appointment with an IVFAustralia fertility specialist, we will review your medical history and any preliminary tests that have been carried out with your GP or referring gynaecologist/physician. Further investigations may be necessary. Your fertility specialist will recommend a treatment plan based on the outcomes of these tests.
 
For men, the first line of investigation is a semen analysis. For women, the first step is to check ovulation through a blood test (although further investigations may be necessary).

Dedicated male infertility clinic

IVFAustralia has recently incorporated a dedicated male infertility clinic as part of our service. This provides additional diagnostic, investigatory and surgical services, including microsurgery.  IVFAustralia Fertility Specialists now have the additional support and expertise of Urologist Dr David Golovsky, who specialises in male infertility and consults within the IVFAustralia City clinic.
