Dr. Nalini Gayer is a fertility subspecialist with more than 20 years experience.
After obtaining a Masters degree in Auckland, she came to Australia and while working at the University of Sydney lectured, researched and published extensively.
Dr Gayer trained at Westmead Hospital to become an obstetrician and gynaecologist and underwent further training to become a fertility subspecialist.
For many years she enjoyed a very busy obstetric practice, delivering close to 10,000 babies while continuing her fertility work.
She stopped practicing obstetrics 5 years ago to focus exclusively on caring for her fertility patients and became a supervisor and examiner for other obstetricians training to become fertility subspecialists.
She has worked as a visiting medical officer at Westmead public and private hospitals.
She is the first female VMO to have the honour of emeritus consultant bestowed upon her by Westmead Hospital Obstetric Unit.
She is accredited to perform complicated endoscopic procedures. Her clinical interests are PCOS, endometriosis and recurrent miscarriages.
Dr Gayer is now practicing at IVFAustralia’s Gosford fertility clinic providing expert fertility care to patients on the central coast.
Dr Gayer consults in English, Telugu, Tamil and Hindhi.
