Westmead
IVFAustralia provides the most extensive and convenient network of fertility centres and consulting sites in and around Sydney and the Central Coast.
Our surgical facilities and laboratory are co-located in three locations across Sydney, which avoid the known hazards of transporting fragile eggs and embryos.
IVFAustralia’s network of care allows patients the opportunity to attend specialist consultations and undertake blood and ultrasound treatment monitoring at clinic locations either close to home or work.
Our Westmead Fertility Clinic is a new, purpose-built, facility designed with patient comfort, privacy and convenience top of mind.
The laboratory has been built to European clean air standards, above that required in Australian IVF laboratories. This involves a sophisticated environmental control to ensure the pure air circulating through the laboratory is separate from the air in the rest of the site, providing near-perfect conditions for the handling of sperm, eggs, and embryos.
Patients at the Clinic attend the West City Day Surgery two buildings away on Mons Road for any day surgery procedures.
The Clinic boasts a state of the art andrology laboratory which carries out the most sophisticated sperm testing and analysis of any laboratory in Australia.
Associate Professor Peter Illingworth, Dr Andrew Kan, Dr Thilee Sivananthan and Dr Nalini Gayer all consult at the Clinic. Patients of Dr Wafa Samen and Dr Robert Lahoud undergo monitoring at the clinic.
